WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 17, 2003

Dear Friend,

"I am unworthy of all the kindness and faithfulness you have shown your servant." Genesis 32:10

I am humbled as I write this letter, midway through our 49th month of ministry here at Liveprayer. Humbled at how God has used this ministry over these past 49 months to bring over 39,000 that we know of to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Humbled at how God has answered the prayers of millions who have emailed us during a critical time in their life with real and pressing needs ONLY God could meet. Humbled knowing that every day over 1.7 million people worldwide read this Devotional.

Humbled that God has brought dear friends like you by my side to share in this incredible last days ministry through your love, your prayers, and your sacrificial giving. Whatever God has done in the lives of millions worldwide over these past 49 months is because of YOUR faithfulness and obedience! So in my humility I say THANK YOU to God for all the incredible blessings that He has bestowed up on me, and to YOU for standing with me in this exciting work!

While it may seem time to wind down a bit and relax and enjoy the fruits of our labor, that is exactly the OPPOSITE of what I plan to do. Even though the challenges have been great, the struggles fierce, the fact is, my strength comes from the Lord who sustains me each and every day to go boldly forward. My Bible says that the night is coming and that we must work while there is still light. Jesus is coming back.

Only God knows the exact time, but it can be at any moment. The only thing that drives me in this life is doing all that I can possibly do within the strength God provides to share HIS hope and HIS love with as many of the lost and hurting in this world that I can until He say my work is finished or that magnificent moment when we see Jesus coming for HIS church!!!!!

At any second the trumpet can sound, and we will see our Lord return!!! Knowing that fact, how can I take it easy? Knowing that fact, how can I slow down? Knowing there are people that are hurting, that are lost, that are without hope, that will perish for eternity when I have THE ANSWER they are looking for!!!!

I can only pray that through these written words, you can feel my heart, sense the passion that I have to continue expanding the great work God is doing here at Liveprayer. But I can only do it with YOUR help! After just a few months of this ministry, I realized that this would only continue, only be expanded as God brought friends like you into the daily life of His work here.

I needed serious men and women of God who would pray for me and this ministry each day. I needed committed men and women of God who would faithfully support the work each month with their sacrificial gifts. I needed real friends who would be there in those difficult times to give me a word of encouragement and help me not get discouraged from the challenges and battles of the day to day operations. AS ALWAYS, GOD WAS FAITHFUL. HE SENT YOU! WITHOUT YOU, THE LAST 49 MONTHS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE!

By now, you probably know the details of the incredible work God is doing here at Liveprayer as well as I do. You already know that each month it takes $30,000, or $1,000 a day to fund all of the incredible ministry that we provide literally 24/7 via the LIVE video on the website and through the Daily Devotionals. So I am going to simply ask you as I always do at this time each month to take a moment, pray, and ask God what He wants you to give this month to help sustain HIS work here at Liveprayer. The amount that you give is between you and God. He knows what you can give, it is up to you to trust Him and be obedient. Please, give the best gift you possibly can today.

***As we head into the last 13 days of the month, we are still $16,900 short of meeting all of this months obligations. It is critical that we don't carry over the expenses from one month to the next, so if you have not given this month, please pray and see what God would have YOU do to help me today. It may be a gift of $20, or $50, or $100. It may be a gift of $300, or $500, or $1,000. It may be the entire $16,900. God sees your heart, NOT the amount of your gift.

In closing, I am humbled as we prepare to wind down the 49th of ministry here at Liveprayer. But I am also excited. Excited because I know that we are just reaching the tip of the iceberg of what we can do in the lives of the lost and hurting all over the world each and every day. I will continue to give 100% of myself to this work. I promise you that. All I ask is that you are faithful to continue to pray for me and the ministry here at Liveprayer each day, and that as God leads you and you are able, that you give to help me reach as many people for Jesus as we possibly can.

The only way that I can ever say THANK YOU to God and to you is to keep being faithful to this incredible work that He has given me to do each day. I am humbled that He called me, humbled to be able to serve Him in such a unique and powerful way, and humbled that He has given me a friend like you to walk through this incredible journey with!
