***LOVE. Today is the day the world celebrates that powerful force known as love. The world mainly focuses on the romantic aspect of this emotion, but I want to focus on the true meaning of the word from God's perspective. You see God's love, Biblical love, has an aspect that the world tries to copy but fails. That aspect of God's love, the love spoken of in the Bible, is that it is UNCONDITIONAL. I can tell you right now, that in our frail human condition it is impossible to love anyone unconditionally. However, when you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, when you have the strength that God imparts to you, to love someone unconditionally is not only possible but required of His children.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL    SATURDAY FEBRUARY 14, 2004
(1 Corinthians 13)

If I had the gift of being able to speak in other languages without learning them, and could speak in every language there is in all of heaven and earth, but didn't love others, I would only be making noise. If I had the gift of prophecy and knew all about what is going to happen in the future, knew everything about everything, but didn't love others, what good would it do? Even if I had the gift of faith so that I could speak to a mountain and make it move, I would still be worth nothing at all without love. If I gave everything I have to poor people, and if I were burned alive for preaching the Gospel but didn't love others, it would be of no value whatsoever.

Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. If you love someone you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him.

All the special gifts and powers from God will someday come to an end, but love goes on forever. Someday prophecy, and speaking in unknown languages, and special knowledge--these gifts will disappear. Now we know so little, even with our special gifts, and the preaching of those most gifted is still so poor. But when we have been made perfect and complete, then the need for these inadequate special gifts will come to an end, and they will disappear.

It's like this: when I was a child I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child does. But when I became a man my thoughts grew far beyond those of my childhood, and now I have put away the childish things. In the same way, we can see and understand only a little about God now, as if we were peering at his reflection in a poor mirror; but someday we are going to see him in his completeness, face to face. Now all that I know is hazy and blurred, but then I will see everything clearly, just as clearly as God sees into my heart right now.

There are three things that remain--faith, hope, and love--and the greatest of these is love.

I LOVE YOU!!! Sadly, many will not hear those wonderful 3 words today. So I want to make sure that I let you know today that I love YOU! If you like what I write, I love you. If there are days that you may not like what I write, I still love you. If you pray for me and this ministry, I love you. If you NEVER pray for me or this ministry, I still love you. If you are led by God to give to the work here, I love you. If you NEVER give to this work, I still love you.

There are many of you that God has used in a powerful way to help us expand the work here over the last 54 months and I love you. There are many Satan has used to try and stop the work of God here at Liveprayer, and I still love you. You see my friend, my love for you has NO CONDITIONS! THAT is "agape" love, or that special love that only comes from God because it is unconditional. There is nothing you can do or say to stop me from loving you!

There is no greater gift than the gift of love. It was out of love that Christ came to this earth to give His life for the sins of this world. That was the greatest example of love there ever was. When I wake up each morning, I realize that the greatest way I can show Christ's love to you is by coming to my office, sitting down at my computer, and as the Holy Sprit directs me, giving you something practical that you can hold on to that will help you through your day. I can say I love you 1 million times, but as my mother used to tell me, "talk is cheap," and "actions speak louder than words." So while I SAY I love you, I attempt to SHOW you that I love you through the words that God gives for me to share with you each and every day.

You see, it is NO ACCIDENT that you are receiving these words each day in your email. It is NO ACCIDENT that God has allowed our lives to cross paths for this season. The fact is, there are billions of people living in our world today. Close to 2 million of those get this Devotional every day. While I have a love for everyone who lives, and a concern for their souls, I have a great love for you because God has brought our lives together during this time in our lives!

Of the billions living, it is only the couple of million or so God has allowed me to share with each day that I am personally responsible for. Personally responsible for in the sense that God has brought our lives together for a period of time, and during that period of time, I AM responsible for sharing the ABSOLUTE TRUTH of His Word with you, caring for your needs and concerns, and letting you know that no matter what, I am here, I love you, I care about you, and you are NOT ALONE!!!!!

One thing I know without a doubt, not ONE PERSON who reads this Devotional is not going through something in their life. NOT ONE!!! I want you to know that Jesus loves you, Bill Keller loves you, and the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you no matter what trial or tribulation that you are currently living through. As much as I love you, God loves you even more.

He is with you always, especially in those darkest days. I come to you each day to let you know that you are not alone, to encourage you, and to pray for you. The whole reason God has raised Liveprayer up in these last days is to pray for the needs of people like you who are going through the storms of life that we all go through. So never hesitate to email me at bkeller@liveprayer.com anytime that I can help you.

I love you, I REALLY DO! I care about you, I REALLY DO! A few weeks ago the Devotional that I wrote was forwarded by someone to an old business acquaintance from my life in the 80's when making money was my only goal. This person and I had some very successful business dealings many years ago. He had not heard from me over these last 12 years that I have been in ministry, and as we shared about our lives the question he asked was a very legitimate one. He said, "Bill, don't you miss the deals, the money, all the luxuries that life has to offer?"

I had to honestly think for a moment before answering. After a few moments I told him NO. Despite not having all of the worldly possessions I once enjoyed, I have a joy, a peace, and an abundance in my life that you can't put a pricetag on. Chasing the things of this world is a wasted effort since one day, when our life is over, those things will not matter any longer. God has given me a very special job to do in these last days. The things of this world will be gone one day, but the lives that we can impact for Christ will live for eternity!!!!!

I wouldn't trade what I am doing for all the gold in the world. I get up each morning, faithfully do what God has called me to do, and I would not trade this great honor for anything. My ultimate job in life is to serve and glorify God with my life. I have been richly blessed to be able to do that every day through the incredible 24/7 ministry of Liveprayer.

The ONLY thing that I ask God for each day, is to allow me to do this until Jesus returns. Despite all of the headaches that are involved in this type of ministry, despite all of the massive attacks from inside and outside the Christians community on our work here, it is all worth it... because of YOU!! I do NOT say "I love you" lightly. I mean it.

It is no accident that God brought us together for this season of our lives. My goal is to inspire you, encourage you, and challenge you. But above all, let me assure you that no matter what.. YOU ARE LOVED!!!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller
