Pray continually.

Why we don't talk to God more. Why is it that the ONE who created us, and is ALWAYS willing to talk to us at any time, is the one we seem to neglect the most throughout the day? Paul said to pray without ceasing, and while there are many interpretations of that verse, I believe it literally means that we should be talking to God throughout the day. Not in the sense that we walk around talking to ourselves, but that silent, constant communication with the Lord that guides our every move and decision.

The number one reason we don't talk to God more is sin. After Adam's sin in the garden, what did he do? He hid from God. This is the same God he would talk to all the time, he was now hiding from. Why? Because he had sinned, and one of the byproducts of sin in our life is the separation it causes in our daily relationship with the Lord. The fact is, when we sin, instead of running away from God, that is the time we should run to Him! Repent, ask His forgiveness, stand on His promise that tells us if we confess our sins He will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

I love you and care about you so much. One of the best guards against sin in our life is to keep in constant communication with God throughout the day. It is tough to do those things we know that we shouldn't, when we are talking with Him. Try talking with Him today, not just during that quiet time of prayer each morning, but all throughout the day. Talk to Him, let Him guide your steps, help you make decisions, show you what it is He wants you to do each step of the way. This is also one of the surest ways to stay right in the center of His perfect will for your life, when you are communicating with Him all day long. Pray without ceasing today!

In closing, I just want you to know that you are some of the most incredible friends God could have ever blessed my life with. For those who have been responding to the special month end appeal to meet our financial needs this month, THANK YOU so much! We are only $3,100 away, and with 3 days left we might even get a head start on next months budget. Now THAT would be a TREMENDOUS Christmas present! You will never know how much your prayers and financial support of this minsitry means to me. It is how we are able to minister in a very personal way now to almost 1 million people worldwide every single day. Only God knows the number of lives He is able to impact each day through this ministry tool called Liveprayer. I wish I was eloquent enough to tell you how deeply I appreciate you. Let me just say on behalf of those who we are able to reach with the hope and love of Christ each day because you pray, because you give... thank you!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller
