Without a doubt the greatest joy of my decade of ministry has been the last 40 months of sharing the hope and love of Jesus Christ with you each day through this Devotional. Even though over to 1.6 million read these words every day, I feel as if we have become a family over this time. Most days it is my joy to share the truth of God's Word with you, and pray for the day to day issues you face in this life. Today however, I want to share some personal thoughts with you and ask that YOU pray for me.

From day one, Liveprayer has been a walk of faith, a test of my personal faith greater then anyone could ever imagine. I pray before God calls me home that I get a chance to write a book about these first three years to encourage others to completely trust God and know that He will never fail you. The calling God has given me is a bit different then most. God has called me to take HIS message of hope and love through Christ to this lost and hurting world through the secular media, rather than the Christian vehicles most ministries use.

God has created this incredible oasis of hope on the Internet which has largely been used for commerce and many ungodly purposes, the reason that He gave me the vision for this Internet ministry was because THIS is where the hurting were to be found! Likewise, it is many who watch secular TV, read secular magazines and newspapers, hear secular radio programs, that are lost, hurting, and looking for answers in their life. God has given us the PERFECT vehicle in Liveprayer to go into the world at large with the simple message, "if you are hurting, looking for answers, we are here for you".

I want you to commit to pray for all that we will try to do in 2003 through Liveprayer. ALSO PRAY, BECAUSE GOD MAY USE YOU TO HELP MAKE IT ALL HAPPEN!!!

The big picture for 2003 is by the end of next year to have over 5 millions subscribers to the Daily Devotional. That will be accomplished by getting the simple message of being available to those who are hurting, looking for answers, in a well crafted ad campaign in large newspapers like the USA Today and big city papers... through the top magazines like Time, Newsweek, and People... through spots on nationally syndicated radio programs like Rush Limbaugh.... through ads in the weekly tabloids like the National Enquirer... by simply letting people know that if they are hurting, if they are looking for answers, there is a place to come to.

Also, the Liveprayer television program is being planned to launch right after the first of the year in 5 east coast cities that we will finalize in the next month. This program will only be on secular stations like FOX, UPN, or WB affiliates, will be LIVE from midnight to 1 AM Monday through Friday, and will take calls from viewers for counsel and prayer. IT WILL BE SUPPORTED SOLELY BY ADVERTISERS, NOT DONATIONS. This program will have regular sponsors so that I will never have to ask the viewers to give to support the program.

This has NEVER been done before on secular TV, but God has told me it is time! In addition to praying for people's needs, I will be able to comment daily on issues like this from a Biblical perspective. A perspective you won't hear anywhere else. Things are NOT going to get better in our world until Jesus returns, and this could be a powerful voice that many in the world will hear!

You see my friend, the LIE satan tells is out there and available to the masses 24/7 from every direction possible. Most people will never watch Christian TV, read a Christian book or magazine, listen to Christian radio. But they all read the popular newspapers and magazines of the day. They all watch the garbage the secular television world produces. That is why it is critical to TAKE THE MESSAGE OF HOPE AND LOVE THROUGH JESUS DIRECTLY TO THEM!

To finance this vision will take 1.9 million dollars. $300,000 will go towards the Ad/PR campaign. $800,000 will go to cover the first 6 months of the Liveprayer television show as we bring advertisers on board during that period to sustain it after those initial 6 months. $300,000 will go to upgrade some of the facilities at Liveprayer, add additional technology, and hire the additional staff necessary to continue to provide the intimate ministry that we do for so many each and every day. The last $500,000 will pay off the balance of the debt we have been carrying from the start-up of Liveprayer. The last 24 months we have been able to meet our monthly operations costs of $30,000, but the first 16 months we had to fund almost 100% of those costs, plus all of the initial start-up expense involved.

When I think about what a powerful outreach that we can have above and beyond what we are currently doing for only 1.9 million I am amazed. Many companies throw that away on a few national ads. I have sadly watched hundreds of millions squandered on Internet sites that never lasted 6 months. Wisely used the way I have outlined, the TRUTH of God's Word can be heard by tens of millions who otherwise would not hear it. It will allow us to see thousands of people give their lives to Christ. It will give hope to millions in their hour of need. In the economy of God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, 1.9 million is nothing!!!

So I am coming to you today to mainly ask that you pray for me, the Liveprayer Board and staff as we carry out this bold vision God has given to us. I am looking for people who believe in what we are doing, have the resources, to pray about being part of helping me put together the 1.9 million that we will need to make this vision a reality.

You may be a business person and want to advertise on the Liveprayer television show. You may be someone God has richly blessed and you are looking to make a substantial investment into the work of God. You may be in the financial industry and have access to people who want to see the work of God carried out in bold, fresh ways. If you know someone who loves God and may be able to help, share with them what Liveprayer is all about and pass this Devotional on to them.

Let me say that one thing Liveprayer will NOT do. I have hundreds of offers from all kinds of MLM companies to have us distribute their products through our Devotional. MLM is a great opportunity, but we are not here to sell products. I could get the 1.9 million tomorrow by advertising in the Devotional. We are not here to promote widgets. There are enough people reading this right now, enough people with enough contacts and resources that we don't have to take those avenues to make this vision a reality. God has blessed this ministry daily. Over 25,000 salvations that we know of in our 40 months. Over 750,000 praise reports now in our praise archive.

***I am 100% convinced His hand of blessing has been on this ministry because we have NOT compromised and sold out God for a few dollars!

***There are a few of you reading this right now who God is speaking to. LISTEN TO HIM! You have the ability to help me make this vision a reality. Either through your own resources, your company, or your contacts, YOU can play a key role in what God is doing through this ministry. Oral Roberts had a bold vision for a Christian university. It took men and women God had richly blessed to make that vision a reality. The same with Jerry Falwell. The great work of Billy Graham has ONLY been possible because God placed several people in the life of his ministry early on that had the resources and ability to finance his work, and look at the dividends THAT investment has paid over the years!

Liveprayer is at a critical stage right now, and has the ability to make an impact in millions of lives all over this world for years to come should Jesus tarry. However, I am at a point where I need God to move on several hearts who will join me in this great vision and help make it possible. The Bible is full of examples of men and women of God who God moved to use some of their resources to further His work. God may have prepared you for this very moment in history!

I will continue to be faithful to my calling each day and do all that I can to pray for and counsel all those that God sends our way each day. The work here will continue as long as God says so. It took faith greater then I ever dreamed I had to get through these past 40 months, and now I am looking for a few with great faith to stand with me and boldly, without fear, take the TRUTH of God to the lost and hurting of this world, using the same vehicles satan has controlled to put his garbage into peoples lives.

These are the last days, and God will NOT be silent. Just as we have hijacked the Internet that is used by so many for ungodly purposes, so we are going to hijack the secular advertising and TV mediums to share the hope and love of Jesus Christ with this hurting and lost world.
